The City of Bostwick will host the Cotton Gin Festival on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 9:00am until 4:00pm with the tractor parade at 11:00am.
Bostwick’s Cotton Gin is one of the few operational gins in Georgia and Saturday, during the Festival, is the ONLY time of year it’s open for public tours.
The day is filled with cotton-ginning, a parade of 100 or more tractors and antique cars, arts and craft vendors, fun kids area, and Southern treats to feast on.
All proceeds from the Cotton Gin Festival go toward the upkeep of the Susie Agnes Hotel and other city improvements as needed. The hotel has now been completely renovated with the first floor serving as city hall and a community center. Rooms upstairs were renovated for office rental. We currently have three offices rented. Parking
Please park in designated areas for safety. The parking fee is $15.00 per car. Handicap parking is available with Handicap Permit. Please be prepared to park in a field as you are coming to the country! We ask that you do not park in areas roped off as it may interfere with festival operations. Violators will be held responsible for accidents or towing. Please bring CASH for the parking fee of $15 per vehicle because the internet may not be available in the parking fields. Please see Traffic Map below for road closures and detours.
*NOTE: Please plan to bring CASH if possible. We are in the country and our internet service can be limited therefore credit/debit card transactions are often a challenge.

Festival Traffic Map
This map will be effective from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm for the festival. We want a safe day for everyone therefore vehicles will not be allowed to drive in or out of areas within the perimeter. Law enforcement will be at all entry points to direct traffic.
